The Children for Children event this year will be held at the Singapore Zoo on Wednesday, 30 September. It aims to bring together 1,000 children from lower income families for an exciting day filled with activities conceptualised and facilitated by the pupils and staff of CHIJ (Kellock).
Entitled “Into the Wild”, participants will explore the Zoo through a series of activities, including specially-designed art-and-craft booths manned by the pupils of CHIJ (Kellock).
Participants will also receive goodie bags containing a set of stationery items contributed and packed by the pupils and staff of the school, as well as a personalised note wishing each participant a “”Happy Children’s Day”". In addition, each participant will receive a disposable camera that he/she can use to document their journey. This event will culminate in a concert based on an original production by the pupils of CHIJ (Kellock).
